The R4 3DS, also known as the R4i SDHC 3DS, is a flashcard made for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DSI systems that allows users to play ROMs of many handheld devices on their system. First off, the R4s is not an official Nintendo product, but it has been produced by many design companies across the globe since it was first introduce. There are many clones of the R4, but the flashcards made by the original manufacturers seem to be the most reliable and better quality. The flashcards come with user friendly software that is required to get the device up and running; but at no headache considering how anyone with an Internet connection can do it.
From what I found out, there are some copies of the R4 that come updated to the latest update components already installed on them and some don’t; however that is not a problem considering all you need to get it running is available on the R4’s website. Now this product is very controversial considering it is banned in many countries for it piracy ability.
